Hi! I'm Acubi (aka Ani)

I'm a 17-year-old senior high school student from Georgia, graduating on May 20th. My birthday is January 20th! I'm an INTP for those who care I'm planning to major in Computer Science, with the goal of becoming a game developer. Although I haven't played games regularly, I find making them incredibly enjoyable! Right now, my schedule is packed with studying because university entrance exams are coming up. I don’t really know how to introduce myself, but I hope that from my ramblings, you can at least get a glimpse of who I am. For a more complete overview, you can check out the rest of my site!

I'm a huge fan of music, studying, coding, collecting, makeup, and of course, manhwas! It might sound like an odd mix, but I love how each of these things allows me to explore and express myself in different ways. My favorite subject is math. Although I’m not the best at it, I find solving problems to be incredibly fun. There's something so satisfying about cracking a tough equation—it’s like a little victory every time! I've been into makeup since I was 13, inspired by Douyin makeup tutorials. It’s been a journey, but I feel like instead of improving, my skills have regressed a little over the years . Even so, I’m still really passionate about it, and I love experimenting with new looks! While I’m not a hardcore collector yet (no budget for that just yet!), I get so much joy from adding a new piece to my collection. It feels like a small win every time I get something I’ve been eyeing. As for studying, I only started taking it seriously last year. Before then, I didn’t put much effort into it—though I wasn’t the worst student, I definitely wasn’t at the top either. Now, I push myself to study more, but I often feel burnt out and like I’m not doing enough. It’s a work in progress! I've also dabbled in game development. I tried coding a game last year but ended up quitting because Unity took up so much of my laptop’s storage. I was also starting to get a bit bored of it, but I’m still sad it didn’t work out. Before that, I made a 2D video game, and while it wasn’t perfect, I had a lot of fun building it. And then, there’s my obsession with manhwas. Gosh, I LOVE them! I’ve read about 20 this year alone, and I mostly gravitate toward fantasy and time travel genres. My latest read was Ooh La La, and it was SO much fun! I finished 70 chapters in just two days (I could’ve finished it in one sitting, but I wanted to savor it a bit longer ). It was such an easy, enjoyable read—I didn’t get bored at all!
